Tim is a seasoned computer technology professional with many years of technical expertise in desktop support, network administration and systems management. He is currently providing IT consulting services to a former employer. Perhaps the highlight of his career was in the role of IT Director for twelve years at Avjet, a private jet charter, sales and management company in Burbank CA that was sold to Jet Aviation, a General Dynamics company.

For the ten years prior, Tim provided IT and ERP support for several Southern California manufacturing companies. Before that he was a programmer / analyst for a small family-owned publishing company where he developed systems and programs to deliver electronic pricing data for the automotive industry.

Tim began his career in retail computer sales and software distribution in various sales, tech support and management positions. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and continues to pursue other certifications necessary, such as VMWare, to keep up with continually advancing technology.

Tim has been married for thirty-nine years, and has one adult son who is also a network engineer for a local MSP. He enjoys hiking, reading, research, writing and correspondence. You can find him online every day on various internet communities and blogs, especially in the tech area. To learn more, click LinkedIn or MyResume below.
